"I think I want to stop vaping/smoking weed/drinking as much/using my phone for hours before bed, but I'm afraid of feeling bored/sad/overwhelmed and unable to sleep."

Having a clear understanding of your values and beliefs, and where they come from, can help you develop a sense of self-esteem that isn't dependent on how well you perform, how you look, or the external ups and downs of life.
